Quit job to write MA

I quit my job at Anagram/Codes with end of Feb 2009 to write my master thesis in applied linguistics at the University of Warsaw. Plus, I’d like to devote time and efforts to the web project in progress.

My first online project

My web knowledge and my friend’s financial experience are about to grow together in one project. Feb 2009 we started works at a dotcom that is to be launched by June 2009.

New job

Since yesterday I work with the branding company Codes. I’m responsible for business development of Anagram. Anagram is, just yet, a brand under which we sell the best (most professional) naming services in Poland and Central Eastern Europe. Expansion and sales growth are my primary objectives.

New duties and leave-off

Today, I come to work after my holiday. Since May we’re not writing for PARP (www.pi.gov.pl) anymore. There were some other changes, too, which result with a new set of tasks. I hope to write more articles now and hope to find time to write in English since there’s English Zone, a relatively new section of Wiadomosci24.pl.

Eco-logical Poland campaign

The Polish daily “Polska” (”Poland”) runs a campaign Eko-logiczna Polska (Eco-logical Poland). It’s first event “Tree for waste paper” (”Drzewo za makulaturę”) took place on Friday and Saturday April 18 and 19. I made 3 videos on Friday. I shot one general movie and two interviews/conversations with Cezary Żak (Polish actor) and Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka frontman of Zakopower band.
